1971 the EAGP was founded as an informal association of psychiatrists, neurologists, neuropathologists, psychologists and sociologists from various European Countries with a special interest in the field of geriatric psychiatry.
Thus, the EAGP was the first formal international association of
Geriatric Psychiatry. Actually, the EAGP develops itself to a roof
organisation
of national associations of Geriatric Psychiatry in Europe. The number
of members is above 600 and will rise with every further national
association of Geriatric Psychiatry joining us.
The EAGP organizes annual congresses of Geriatric Psychiatry in Europe.
Further information is delivered on our homepage.
